REVIEWS (Taken from Amazon.com customers) "This book talks about many things but, without a doubt, it should have been called the case for absolute truth. And according to the book, absolute truth is equivalent to the Creator of the Universe. "If God is Truth" makes a very solid case for the existence of a rational, thinking creator, whose mind is reflected all over his creation. Another interesting point made by the book is the link between truth and the mind. If God is truth, what does it mean for us? The book aims to answer that question. And the answer is very well presented. By the time I finished reading the first two chapters, I had a very clear understanding about the concept of truth and how it affects us all. But to really appreciate these ideas, I recommend to any potential reader to research everywhere else about what truth is and then read the book. I did it; and it felt like going from night to day. This is a book that every person should read before committing to any one religion! I should also say that this book is not politically correct and will disturb more than one believer. Truth has never been popular!" Lidia Pirir If God is Truth demonstrates that having faith is not the only determinant in our relationship with God. I became convinced that within the church system, as it is today, it is impossible to get into a close relationship with God. If you are in the church, you are part of the church. And if there is something wrong with the church, then there is something wrong with you too. We need to use our minds if we do not want religion, blindness and doctrine to replace God for lies and deception. Closeness to God is proportional to positive life transformation. Life transformation is subordinated to a change of mentality in the person through truth. But people are not getting total truth from the present religious system, thus there is no life transformation in the believers either. If God is Truth offers a very well researched alternative to religion. I will say that Mr. Fernandez proved his points with facts, logically arriving at the conclusions. I especially enjoyed the rationale for God as truth and the impact of truth or the lack of it in our lives. JD |
